Okay, so they are not THE new baby, but they are pretty cute. We got them on Tuesday and already they have grown quite a bit.
They are Indian Runner ducklings. We won't know if we got boys or girls until they feather out. Cross your fingers for girls!

are these legal in the neighborhood? Or are they just going to be inside duckies? I bet the kids love them!
Of course they are legal. They are beloved pets. Besides, there are tons of ducks in our neighborhood. Usually they are the wild kind that fly, but I'm sure no one will notice our little bowling pins on legs.
If we do have a problem, I found a site that sells ducky diapers so they can be house ducks.
I'm sure mom won't mind us bringing our house ducks when we come to visit. She'll probably want one of her own. :)
I'm sure no one would mind. It would just add to the Kelley Zoo. They could sleep in Keri's room.
